სოციალურ ქსელში ამერიკის შეერთებული შტატების 32-ე პრეზიდენტის ფრანკლინ დელანო რუზველტის ციტატა ვრცელდება, რომლის თანახმადაც რუზველტს ეკუთვნის შემდეგი სიტყვები: "ამერიკელ ხალხს მუდამ უნდა ახსოვდეს, რომ 1942 წელს ის ახლოს იყო ეროვნულ კატასტროფასთან საბჭოთა კავშირს რომ არ შეენარჩუნებინა სტალინგრადის ფრონტი. ყოველი ამერიკელი მოვალეა ფეხზე ადგომით. პატივი მიაგოს მსოფლიო ცივილიზაციის გადასარჩენად კაცობრიობის ისტორიის ამ უდიდეს ომში დაღუპული გმირი საბჭოთა მებრძოლების ნათელ ხსოვნასდა რომ არა ჩემი მეგობარი მარშალი სტალინი, არსებობას შეწყვეტდა რუსეთიც, ევროპაც და ამერიკაც !". ღია წყაროებში გადამოწმების შედეგად აღმოჩნდა, რომ ქართულენოვან სოციალურ ქსელში გავრცელებული ციტატა, რომელიც ფრანკლინ დელანო რუზველტს მიეწერება, არც ერთ ინგლისურენოვან სანდო წყაროში არ იძებნება. სხვადასხვე ვებგვერდზე, სადაც რუზველტის ცნობილი გამონათქვამებია შეკრებილი და გამოქვეყნებული, (1; 2) ზემოხსენებული ციტატა მათ რიგებში არ იძებნება. იდენტური ციტატა არც რუსულ წყაროებშია ხელმისაწვდომი.

შესაბამისად, არ დასტურდება, რომ რუზველტს სტალინის მისამართით აღნიშნული სიტყვები ეთქვა.
