An edited photo with anti-Ukrainian content is circulating on social media

A Facebook account, "Nona Sharabidze", which often spreads posts containing anti-Ukrainian content and disinformation (1; 2; 3), published a photo showing four young men. All four are wearing dresses, and one of them has an "Azov" battalion armband. The photo description is in Russian: "Герои Майдана уже получили достойную Работу в Европе!" (The heroes of Maidan have already received worthy work in Europe). In reality, the circulated photo is edited (archived link).

Using a reverse image search tool, we found this photo on various Russian websites. The photo has been circulating since 2012 (1; 2), and in its original version, neither the "Azov" battalion armband is visible, nor are the dress colors in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

Therefore, the circulated photo is edited.
