სოციალურ ქსელში ვრცელდება ინფორმაცია, თითქოს 2026 წლის 1 ოქტომბერს "უკრაინაში 2000-მდე ჯარისკაცმა, იარაღი დაყარა და რუსეთის მხარეს გადავიდა" (არქივირებული ბმული).

ინფორმაციის გამავრცელებელი არ ურთავს წყაროს, თუ რაზე დაყრდნობით ამტკიცებს, რომ უკრაინელი ჯარისკაცები რუსეთის მხარეს საბრძოლველად გადავიდნენ. ინფორმაციის ნამდვილობას საეჭვოს ხდის ის ფაქტიც, რომ დასახელებული რიცხვი იმდენად დიდია, მსგავსი ინფორმაცია უკრაინული, რუსული და საერთაშორისო მედიის ყურადღებას მიიპყრობდა. პირველ რიგში, კი აღნიშნულ ინფორმაციას თავად რუსული მხარე გააშუქებდა.

"ჯეოფაქტსმა" აღნიშნული მტკიცება რუსულ ენაზე ღია წყაროებში მოიძია. Google-ის საძიებო სისტემაში ფრაზის "Около 2000 украинских военнослужащих сложили оружие и перешли на сторону России" რელევანტური შედეგები არ მოიძებნება. მსგავსი ინფორმაცია არ იძებნება ისეთი რუსული გამოცემების ვებგვერდებზე, როგორებიცაა: Iz.ru, Ria Novosti.

ამდენად, სოციალურ ქსელში გავრცელებული მტკიცების ნამდვილობა არ დასტურდება.
